Mother’s Day comes but once a year….. and it can be a monumental pain in the ass!

My mum is super super fussy and every year I wrack my brains to come up with something she either does not already have or would really, really love. I am looking for the ‘wow’ factor for her, she really does deserve it, but after years of wastefully buying disposable fashion and trinkets galore, we are now a ‘must-have’ only kinda outfit.

We’d much rather be frugal and save for a show-stopping Chanel bag or a drop-dead-gorgeous pair of shoes from Prada.  So spending needless pounds on tat just ain’t gonna cut it. The gifts need to be worth the wonga.

My mum’s birthday is a mere day apart from Mother’s Day – so I need to double up on the gifts in March and have a real good scout around for goodies.

A loving token, a thoughtful gift is all that’s required for our mummies on their special day, but some people go all out and spoil theirs rotten so I’ve compiled my list of the top spring buys for this coming Mother’s Day. Enjoy x

Memories are the best gift you can give, and me and my mum are off to make some new ones at The Royal Albert Hall on Mother’s Day this year. A tour round the Iconic building that is a global landmark and then a scrumptious champagne afternoon tea to wash it down. I cannot wait!

A feast for her face, this YSL Blur Primer will give her red carpet skin and a feeling of luxury that can’t usually be bought.

My mum is an avid Vivienne Westwood fan and these delicious earrings from Mainline are just the ticket to get me firmly in the good books.

Unless she is off chocolate for lent, you just gotta throw in some lush chocolates for her to nibble. I love Guylian as they are bursting with the finest Belgian chocolate and praline flavour combo I can’t get enough of!
