Coppa Club – There are few things you can do to feel more festive than book a get together at one of the many Coppa Club venues across London and beyond.

Their iconic winter igloos are synonymous with fun festivities for everyone from couples to families to group celebrations.

My personal favourite venue is their Tower Bridge site which has one of the most breath taking spaces in the Capital.

Setting themselves apart, Coppa Club make your visit unique every time and the attentive staff ensure your visit is an experiential success.

Do be prepared to be a bit of a goldfish in your perfectly decorated bowl as the fascination of the passers by is unavoidable due to the ‘wow’ aesthetic of your surroundings, but the odd over-enthusiastic snapper doesn’t take away from a very memorable visit against the backdrop of the Southbank skyline.

On our visit, we were lucky enough to bag one of the most in demand domes for our soiree.

Coppa cocktails by the Thames kicked us off in great style and our starters were delectable choices of buttermilk fried chicken which was positively perfect and flavoursome seared king prawns in garlic, chilli and lemon respectively.

The menu is sizeable and varied, something for everyone regardless of dietary requirements or personal preferences.  Took us a while to choose, so plentiful were the options.

For mains my friend and I were palatable polar opposites, she opted for the plant based version of the signature Coppa burger whilst I am a sucker for steak so went for the 8oz flat iron grass fed steak with skinny fried and chimichurri. A cheeky little side of tenderstem broccoli with sundried tomato and toasted almonds was an inspired choice.

With only minimal space to house dessert, the pudding sharing plate called to us -flourless chocolate cake, sticky toffee pudding, crème brûlée and affogato  was a wonderful fusion of flavours which we enjoyed immensely. For your (and my) info, Affogato: an Italian coffee-based dessert. It takes the form of a scoop of plain milk-flavoured or vanilla gelato or ice cream topped or “drowned” with a shot of hot espresso.

A trip to any of the Coppa Club sites is a ,must do this season and you can book here.
