Hi everyone, I just popped on to show you a quick one, a Zara sequin dress of dreams that I just needed to share.
The other day I was in London and had literally ten precious minutes in Zara. Initially I was gripped by this white top as I’d had my eye on the expensive original for ages but was delighted to see one of my favourite high street stores had provided me with dupes in every colourway I could have dreamt up.
Unfortunately once I tried it on, I became aware that unless I wanted to show everyone what lurks beneath, this top was not for me. Too short, too revealing, too tight…back it will go.
However, as I walked to the tills with the top I was dazzled by the sparkle in the corner of my eye when I spotted this beautiful sequin maxi dress shimmering at me and calling my name.
This was a winner and I wore it for a dress shoot with a lovely local photographer, Pearlmomentsphotography, which you can see more of here.
What do you think of how I styled it? I thought my Balmain blazer worked beautifully for chillier evenings and the killer YSL heels were a must to give the look a dramatic end.
The dress can tend to look like a tent on a figure like mine so I cinched it in with my trusty gucci belt which, pence per wear, has turned out to be the steal of the century!
At the risk of looking like a sparkly beached whale, here are some pics of all the ways to wear it, shapely or not!
What do we think peeps? Thumbs up or thumbs down?
Until next time lovelies xxx
*Disclaimer: None of these items have been gifted, just wanted to show you my favourite pieces and my new sparkly dress. Mwah x *
