Well, it’s not every day I am invited to spend the day with one of my fave spice girls, Emma Bunton, but that’s exactly what I did on Friday.

As you all know, I’ve interviewed Emma before but this was an opportunity to also spend time with other mums I admire greatly and give some good honest feedback directly to the founders of the highly awarded (9 people, count ’em!) brand which hasn’t even been around long enough to rack up it’s first birthday. Not bad going, they must be doing something right, eh?

So what’s all the fuss about? Well this is a brand with way more to it than having one of the best known (and loved) faces in Britain behind it. Emma and her co-founder Chris Money (yep, real name!) have chucked 3 years of blood, sweat and tears into this brand, chipping away at making the future brighter for all of our children.

An ethical brand with our babies at the forefront, Kit & Kin are changing the world one nappy at a time. Regular nappies take up to 500 years to biodegrade (who knew???)  – Kit & Kin nappies only take 3-6 years. Quite the stark contrast!

Now, obviously my boys are well out of nappies, but there is far more to Kit&Kin than that!

Tag on to the nappies, a fabulous skincare range for both Mum & baby – heck, the whole family (especially grannies – my mum LOVES the Magic Salve) well, it is no wonder the British public are coo-ing over Baby Spice’s new baby!

I’ve got a super short snippet vlog for you! Go get a feel for what happened at the bloggers party:

We had a great time – well you know what happens when you throw a bunch of women together, babies oozing cuteness, one very tolerant guy (Chris!) and a whole load of Prosecco and cocktails!! Most of the time we talked all things baby’s bums, rashes, eczema, wee and poo. We were tasked with feeding back real mums’ feelings to Emma & Chris directly, ensuring the brand are always at the top of their game.

I was delighted to catch up with the lovely Jenny from @MothersMeetings ( if you want to know more about MM, read here!) and her lovely mum, also Sereta from @kikiblahblah, Alison @IamAlisonPerry, Jade from @the_mother_of_all_adventures and SO many others who I’d only spoken to online before.

So much fun and with a truly passionate brand at the heart of the day – thanks Emma & Chris!

You can buy the Kit & Kin range from Ocado and their own website.
