Epson ET-3600 Ecotank Printer Scanner & Copier Review

We have been working with a rickety old printer in our home office F.O.R.E.V.E.R. and it has long been a bug bear of mine as the hubby has refused to join the future and upgrade, some kind of protest against modernity, I’ve no doubt.

However, those lovely people at Epson recently asked me if I’d like to review the new wireless ET-3600 and it kind of helped me force his hand when a bear of a package turned up on the doorstep.

He sniffed around it for a bit and muttered about setting it up sometime but the first chance I got I was unleashing that beast and inking it up before he could change his mind!

Now once I got it out of the huge box, I found that it was actually just a really well packaged, streamlined machine which belied its multi-functional capabilities!

Half an hour all in and I was done, well until my router decided not to play ball, but a quick You Tube & Google search and I had identified the issue and was cooking with gas.

I tried it out first of all printing a ‘how to’ guide I just couldn’t follow when it was on the internet. Nothing like the feel of words on paper to give a girl a bit of clarity!

My youngest , not to be left out, insisted he ‘needed’ me to print nice colourful pictures of Pokemon for him to pin on his bedroom door,in the quest to become a bonafide Pokastop – jeez, the kids are obsessed!

So this

ET-3600 has quickly become an integral part of the family and is invaluable -even the hubby has grudgingly admitted life looks better in colour and it is a great addition to our house.

Have you a colour printer at home? Have you migrated to ink instead of cartridges yet? What do you think of our new addition?
